Lake Jocassee: November 19, 2007 Showing Bill my favorite lake, and the fall colors are finally out! August Canal: November 17, 2007 Road trip to Augusta to see the paddle the canal Lake Jocassee: November 4, 2007 Sunday afternoon paddle with Eva Lake Jocassee: October 21, 2007 A lazy Sunday paddle with Todd D. and Eva on my favorite lake. Good timing too, got back just in time for a beautiful sunset. Lake Murray/Dreher Island State Park: September 30 Ok, so I need to finish posting the pictures Lake Tugaloo: September 23, 2007 Your usual first day of fall, 90F trip to the Georgia border. Great day, Todd D led Marry Margaret, Magic Larry and myself down the hidden path to the boatramp and off into the lake. I've never seen so many turtles hanging out sunning themselves before. Lake Cheaoh: September 4, 2007 Clear cold water on this mountain lake, very pretty. Lake Fontana FPC: September 3, 2007 Great trip leader I am - I missed it because I was late! Hah, shortcut through the mountains. Had a nice solo paddle on the very very low lake, and caught up with Kim and Margaret afterward. Turns out there are two boatramps at Tsali. Double Oops day. French Broad FPC Trip: August 11, 2007 The scoot scoot tour by Greg Watson, the river was so low we were dragging all over the place and were using the scoot technique a lot. I think Greg is going to start being a tour guide for this trip - he does it almost every weekend! Maine in the Fog: July 19, 2007 The rain went away, but the fog stayed over Acadia, so I decided to paddle anyway. Very eerie. GPS and compass helped a lot, and it is cool to see a sailboat come out of the fog towards you, just like a pirate movie. Cape Breton <South Harbor?>, Bras D'Or Lake More paddling, this time in Nova Scotia. Tons of jellyfish, and I got paddle through a working lock! St. Lawrence at Riviere-du-Loup Paddling the St. Lawrence Seaway, got to paddle along with a pod of Beluga whales, got stalked by a playful sea lion, and made it back to the hostel for a sunset trip.
